In a recent newsletter the topic was being addicted to our electronic devices and the drive to be "in touch everywhere all the time" that consumes so many. From time to time I have had that feeling - as if I were connecting to an extended circle of family and friends even when the messages were from people and companies I had never heard of and deleted.
Time to take a deep breath and let our shoulders drop. Take a mental inventory of the important things in our lives and our goals. Revisit our business plan. Reassess what we do with our energy. "Keep your eye on the ball" comes to mind. Too many side trips dilute our efforts and may prevent the success we can achieve with focus.

I cannot imagine having to be that much in touch with anyone. I am not sure that people today believe in alone time.
